Pat Vanspall is a professional DJ and Disco Entertainer. He started DJ'ing at his local youth club whilst living in London back in 1971. He had been working in and around London right up until 1988. In 1992 Pat formed Golden Sounds Disco and began working throughout Bedfordshire ,Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

Our Process

We like to keep things informal we are all about having fun and enjoying the big day, so to get it right we always like to meet up with you to discuss your requirements and to give you a chance to meet the DJ on a one to one.

As your wedding DJ our first priority is to get to know you, your tastes in music, and to learn about your reception party.

Things we should know about We should know about other events which may be taking place such as speeches, your meals, other entertainment if booked, and of course when you plan to take your first dance.

It is a good idea to let us know about the timing of each event so that we can run in sync with your wedding plans, and where possible we will liaise with you and/or other entertainment managers to ensure we are on schedule.

On the day we will arrive in plenty of time. Venues will often allocate time slots for setting up, so please check this and inform us as soon as possible.

The Music

Our aim is to provide the best possible entertainment for you and your guests. We pride ourselves on the selection of music we have to offer and working with you prior to the day, we can tailor each playlist to include a selection of your most favourite songs.

Music can be supplied to us in the form of a written playlist of your most favourite tracks, and/or as a CD.or mp3 file. We can help you to choose songs if you don't quite know the names, and we do encourage music request on the night, unless you specify otherwise.

At the end of the evening we can finish with some upbeat songs or slow and romantic to help your guests wind down, the choice is yours.
